(2001) Visitor Q

This is Pasolini’s Teorema with the sole of Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom (most difficult movie I’ve ever seen). Visitor Q is a twisted tale of a family being torn apart after the arrival of a strange visitor.

This movie is the most literal definition of a film that’s not for everyone. Where some people might puke and be scarred for life, sick degenerate fucks like myself will see the dark humor in it.

There’s a definite chaotic expression of early philosophers theories once you dig through all the shit here, which is pretty much the point of the movie, or at least that’s what I gathered. In that sense, a lot of the incredibly fucking weird scenes can be justified.

Like most Miike films, this one is filled to the brim with all this fucking meta-shocking, bold expressionism fucking blood shit in-your-face filmmaking. It’s taking our views of a giant middle class and stripping them down naked in front of the whole class; exposing all their fears, desires, fantasies and insecurities.
