(2014) Preservation

A friend introduced this to me as a revenge horror but to me it’s really a revenge/survival horror. It’s ratings are just terrible and I don’t understand it. It’s not like this is the best movie of the year or anything but it’s hardly another run of the mill entry in the genre.

The pacing is odd but it’s probably the best thing I took away from this movie. Things get going incredibly quickly and reveal our protagonist which from the beginning, seems like it could be either of the three main characters.

I really can’t give anything else away but this is on Netflix right now, go check it out. It’s bogged down at times by a few overused character tropes but as a whole, it’s a refreshing change of pace (literally).
