I sat back for an easy to watch 80’s b-horror movie but was really surprised to get this reality/perspective shifting mindfuck of a horror. When I saw mindfuck I don’t mean like hight club level but definitely a mindfuck for 80’s horror.
The 80’s b-horror style doesn’t necessarily go away once this movie shifts in tone but a surprising amount of depth is added to the usual template.
Assuming I actually understood what I just watched, this was a really fun movie. It’s also a movie that you actively watch. I was constantly trying to figure out what was going on and that feeling kept up until the very end.
Definitely check this one out, good or bad, it’s refreshingly different.
