(1976) Who Can Kill a Child?

Well to answer the films question, I can certainly kill any one of these kids. Stephen King must have watched this film because Children of the Corn is basically the same thing.

This is alright, it’s long and kind of bland. The acting isn’t anything special. I read they were originally looking to cast Anthony Hopkins as the lead which is unfortunate because he would have been great in this.

There’s definitely a lot of subjective horror that just didn’t hit for me. For instance, the empty town is kind of eerie but again, seeing King’s film before this made it all seem very familiar. The kids were pretty meh, didn’t really do much for me.

I don’t really have much to say about this film in either a positive or negative light, it’s just alright.
