(2003) Jug Face

Jug Face is a perplexing little backwoods horror.Once you figure out what’s going on, it’s pretty straightforward but very entertaining.

I really enjoyed all of the dumb hick characters and it felt original. You can tell the budget wasn’t extensive on this one but it didn’t rely heavily on effects so that didn’t take too much away from the film.

Lauren Ashley Carter’s performance was really strong, definitely looking forward to seeing her in more films.

I guess it comes down to whether or not you think it’s just a stupid premise. For me, I’m giving the thumbs up on this bad boy. Several fucked up scenes made me cringe and it was gripping from start to finish.

    1. It’s kind of low budget which shows in a few scenes but I’d definitely recommend it. It felt pretty original, or at least I can’t think of anything too similar off the top of my head.
